QUEBEC DECiSIONS

WILL BE REPORTED BY WAR CORRESPONDENTS Recd. 10 p.m. Washington, Aug. 31 The real reporting of the Quebec decisions will be done by war correspondents from the fronts in the next three months, Mr. Brendan Bracken told his Press conference. He added that there was no chance of destroying Germany in 1943 and that it would also take some lime to "give the tough Japanese people the licking they deserve.” Indeed, the Allies wore facing a long, hard war. Mr. Bracken said: "The adult education system established by the bombings of the Reich may achieve very good results,” but althoug Allied airmen believed air power could win the war it would be foolish to start reducing our armies and navies. "The German war will be over in a very few months,” Emil Ludwig fold reporters. He added: "It is no longer a question cf supplies bu’ psychology. The Germans have not the English nerves for defence. You can say I am a very bad psychologist, if the German war is not finished in 1943.” Ludwig also predicted that a German revolution would start on the Russian front, whereupon generals and industrialists would promise everything in attempting a compromise peace.
