Housekeeping experts estimate that Australian brides need a minimtim of 224 coupons and £250 tor linen and furnishings for a flat containing one bedroom, a lounge, a sun room, a kitchen and a bathroom. This excludes the purchase price ot floor coverings, cutlery and electrical appliances, and all are in very short supply. For electrical appliances permits must be secured.
