NO HEAVY TRAFFIC LICENCE
"In view of the fact that you have taken out a licence, and there is no loss of revenue I shall impose a fine of fl," said Mr. J. H. Salmon, S.M., in the Magistrate’s Court, Wanganui, yesterday, when Bruce Glendinning admitted operating a heavy motor vehicle in Victoria Avenue without first obtaining a heavy traffic licence. Inspector H. E. Tipper, who appeared for the Wanganui City Council, said defendant had been operating for five months without a licence, but had since paid heavy traffic fees to cover the whole of that period. Court costs amounted to 12s.
