WATERSIDE WORKER IMPRISONED (P.A.) Auckland, Aug. S 6. For stealing twelve dozen combs and a quilt, of a total value of £B. the property of the New Zealand Shipping Company, on Saturday. William Leo Benbow, aged 45, painter, and waterside worker, was sentenced by Mr. J. H. Luxford, S.M., to-day to two months’ imprisonment. When he was stopped by Constable Scott while leaving the wharf, Benbow had the combs in a bag and the quilt was wrapped around his body.
