“BOYS’ WEEK CAMPAIGN"

The “Beys’ Week” campaign, under the auspices of the Wanganui Y.M.C.A., began on Sunday when good attendances were recorded at the different churches. At some services the lessons were read by the boys. Yesterday 85 boys were conducted round various industries by members of the Chamber of Commerce. The personnel of the conducting party comprised Messrs. C. S. Jeffs (president), B. Pitkethley, W. Burgess and W. Steele.

To-day the boys will attend the Y'.M.C.A. at 2 o’clock when a demonstration of physical fitness will be given by Mr. S. Nolan. This will be followed by a talk by Dr. U. G. Williams.
