JUDGE SAID TO BE WRONG
Raed. G p.m. Washington, Aug. 27. The Acting Secretary of War. Mr. John McCloy. said that General Richardson was acting under army orders, and that Judge Metzger’s conclusions were wrong, tie acioed that the Governor of Hawaii and the United States Departments of War, the Interior, and Justice agreed that the relaxation ol some restrictions did not mean that martial law had been abrogated. The difficulty is expected to be ironed out in a few days.
