WENHAM CUP CONTEST. The second round of the Wanganui Indoor Bowling Association's Wenham Cup competition resulted as follows: — Bishop Lodge 13, v. Fire Brigade 28: Trinity (Mailman) 21, v. M.U. (Threadgold) 17; Aramoho Druids 15, V. Power Board 26; A.O.F. Lodge 11, V. Trinity (Healey) 18; M.U. (Wilson) 2.3, v. Fire Auxiliary 18; Cosmo Club 22, v. M.U. (Kirk) 15. The following is the draw for the third round to be played on or before September 2. (Home teams are mentioned first in each instance): — Two Lives.—Fire Brigade v. Power Board; Trinity (Mailman) a bye. One Life.—Trinity (Healey) v. Bishop Lodge; Cosmo Club v. M.U. (Wilson); M.U. (Threadgold) v. Aramoho Druids. Pairs and Singles. Club secretaries please note that entries are open for the pairs and singles competitions which will be played at the conclusion of the Wenham Cup games.
