CABLE-SHI? REPAIRS IN MID-ATLANTIC Reed. 6.15 p.m. London. Aug. 26. Long-range aircraft working.in relays gave almost continuous cej-er to a cable ship undertaking urgent repairs on a cable which broke halfway between England and Canada during a heavy gale. Despite dense fog and cloud four of the five aircraft located the cabh ship. A pilot said his task was “like looking for a halfpenny in Piccadilly Circus in a pea-soup fog.”
