NATIONAL OBSERVANCE OF DAY OF PRAYER
(P.A.) Wellington, Aug. 25. Moderator of the Presbyterian Church of New Zealand. Rt. Rev. J. G. Laughton, calls upon the ministry and membership of the Presbyterian Communion to co-operate in observing, Friday, September 3, as _ a national day of prayer and dedication, as it has been appointed by the King, and further urges that special intercession for the Allied cause be made on the following Sabbath, particularly where local circumstances preclude the observance of September 3.
