CASTLECLIFF GOLF CLUB
OPENING OF NEW SEASON
A decision to hold the opening of the 1943 season on Sunday. March 21, was made by members of the Castlecliff Golf Club at the annual meeting held on Monday last. After the annual report and bal-ance-sheet, which showed a very satisfactory position, bad been presented to members, the election of officers resulted as follows: President, Mr. R. R. Dawson; vice-president, Mr. E. W. Merewether; captain, L. R. Simpson; vice-captain, P. J. Smith; secretary, J. D. Lake; treasurer, E. A. Millward: committee. Messrs. A. Doidge, L. G. King, and F. Sanko; hon. auditor. Mr. T. B. Buchanan. The official opening on Sunday will be a medal round in the morning and a mixed foursome in the afternoon. Intending members and members of other clubs are cordially invited. Lady club members are respectfully asked to bring a plate.
