HON. F. JONES AT CAIRO
N.Z. DEFENCE MINISTER (N.Z.E.F. Official News Service.) Recd. 9 p.m. Cairo, March lb. The Minister of Defence, the Hon. F. Jones, and his private secretary, Mr. Sherwood, have arrived in Cario from Washington. Both are fit and well. They were met at the airport bv Brigadier Stevens, officer In charge of the administration of the Secona N.Z.E.F. Mr. Jones was particularly pleased to see his son, a private in the Second Division, who shook hands warmly with his father as he descended from the plane.
