COMING TO AUSTRALIA
JEWISH REFUGEE CHILDREN FROM FRANCE Recu. 6 p.m. Canberra, March 17. One hundred and fifty Jewish refugee chikhen from Vichy France will be brought to Australia. The request of he Jewish Welfare Society to permit the children to come to Australia has been granted. The children are aged between seven and 14 years, and are at present under the care of the Roman Catholic Church authorities. The Jewish Welfare Society will undertake the responsibility for the transport of the children and their care Ui Australia.
