CROQUET IN WANGANUI
VISIT FROM HAWERA ASSOCIATION.
A team of six players from the South Taranaki Croquet Association played a return match'with the Wanganui Association team on Tuesday at the Wanganui Croquet Club's lawns, when the local players won by 7 games to 2. The results are as under (Hawera players being mentioned first): —A. J. Gibbs 1 v. D. McClymo.it 26; Mrs. J. S. McKay 8 v. A. E. Ogier 26; Mrs. Harding 25 v. W. F. Jarvie 26; Mrs. Penny 6 v. C. La Roche 26; Miss Washer 0 v. F. L. Harrison 26. Doubles: —A. J. Gibbs and Mrs. McKay 26, won from A. E. Ogier and D. McClymont 23; Mrs. Harding and Mrs. D. McKay 5, lost to W. F. Jarvie and Mrs. J. Brass 26; Mrs. Penny and Miss Washer 22 lost to F. Harrison and C. La Roche 26.
