TAIHAPE SALE Messrs. Dalgety and Company, Limited (Inc in England) report on the Taihape sale held on Wednesday last when an offering of approximately 6000 ewes and a few pens of wellbred station cattle were submitted to a large attendance of buyers from the Waikato, Rangitikei and Manawatu districts. Breeding ewes met with a keen demand and we report a total clearance, at prices fully firm on recent sales. Messrs. Wall and Co.’s entry of station cattle which were a particularly well-bred line, commanded keen attention. A pen of forward 3-year-old P.A. bullocks realised £ll 12s and a line of P.A. cows with calves at foot, sold at £9 17s.
