RAILWAY SURFACEMAN DIES OF INJURIES

(P.A.) Invercargill, Feb. 18. James Cavanagh, railway surfaceman, who was one of two men injured on the Bluff line, near Clifton, in a collision between a jigger and a train, died in the Southland Hospital this morning. He suffered severe internal injuries. He was 59 years old and .•carried.
