DRAW FOR CHAMPIONSHIPS ANNOUNCED THIRTY-ONE TEAMS COMPETING It was announced at a meeting o£ 1 the Wanganui Marching Association that 31 learns will be competing at the Wanganui championships which will be held on Cook's Gardens on Saturday, February 27. Twelve Wanganui teams will be competing, in addition to six from Wellington, three from Hutt, two from Wairoa, one from Gisborne, two from New Plymouth, three from Masterton, and two from Hastings. Two Maori teams, one front Wairoa and one from Maslerton, are included. Seven or eight ot the visiting team, will be billeted privately and the rest will be quartered at hotels. Three Wanganui bands, the Wanganui Garrison Band, the Wanganui Highland Pipe Band, and the Q.a.M.R. (A.F.V.) Band, will provide music.
