SUPPLIES FROM NATIONAL PATRIOTIC FUND

(P.A.) Wellington. Feb 16. The provision of stationery for members of the New Zealand Forces enable them to keep touch with their families and homes is no small item of the National Patriotic Fund Board budget each year. In addition to issues of writing paper and envelopes made direct by the board and supplies sent overseas with transports, various welfare institutions, acting as agents for the board, are receiving on an average over two million sheets of writing paper and 858,000 envelopes monthly for distribution to camps and stations in the Dominion.

A recent gift of almost three months’ supply from the Anzac Division of the British War Relief Society in the United States helped the position.
