JAPANESE OFFENSIVE
(Recd. 11 p.m.) Chungking, Feb. 15. The United Press reports that a Chinese communique says the Japanese have been on the offensive since Friday in central, north and south China with aerial activity on most battlefields. The main activity is in the Canton area and the Kiangs! province. Other attacks are on the Yangtse River, along the borders of the Hupeh and Hunan provinces and southern Shansi.
