A cheque for £1,000,000 was lodged recently with the management of Hoyt’s Melbourne Regent Theatre for investment in the Australian Austerity Loan, via Hoyt's- War Bond preview performance. The investor tOk over two rows in the lounge of the theatre—loo seats at £lO,OOO each.
