DAILY INTERCESSION
For Thou, Lord, wilt bless the righteousness; with favour Thou wilt compass him as with a shield. Lord, Thou art a shield to all them that put their trust in Thee, their refuge and their strong tower. Strengthen our faith, when evil seems so strong, tn at the righteous will never be put to confusion and that he that endureth to the end shall be saved. Thy promise is that they who wait on Thee shall renew their strength. We confess how often we have forgotten Thee and yielded to the spirit of worldliness and pride. As we see the working of this spirit in ruin and death in the world help us to turn to Thee in penitence and with renewed purpose to serve Thee the Living God. Bring to us, and to all, that vision without which the people perish, that light in which alone we shall see life’s meaning clearly.—Amen.
