PLEADED GUILTY

COMPANY DIRECTOR FOR MISAPPROPRIATION (P.A.) Wellington, Jan. 26. Five charges of fraudulently misappropriating moneys subscribed throughout New Zealand for the exploitation of Dominion raw materials for the manufacture of luminous paint were admitted, in the Magistrate’s Court to-day by Leonard Bowley Bolton Moss, aged 46, company director. who was recently extradited from Austalia. The total amount subscribed was £9146 10s, of which £6938 19s 5d was owing to subscribers, but the amount involved in the charges against Moss was only £lO6O. Tn a statement to the police Moss admitted misappropriation of the money subscribed, all of which, he said, had been used. He had had no intention of fraud when the company, was floated. Moss was committed to the Supreme Court for sentence by Mr. J. L. Stout, S.M.
