JAPANESE AERODROMES
BCMBED IN BURMA Rugby, Dec. 29. A joint, communique from India states that yesterday afternoon R.A.F. Blenheims, escorted by fighters, bombed the Japanese aerodrome at Monywa, on the Chi nd win River. In addition to hits on the runways, several bursts were observed in the dispersal area. No enemy aircraft were encountered.
Other fighters carried out offensive patrols in the Mayu River districts. Last night Oungoo aerodrome, in central Burma, was attacked. Bombs dropped shortly after midnight and bursts were seen in the target area, but detailed results could not be observed.
From daylight operations two of cur planes are missing.
