WAITOTARA Mr. and Mrs. C. S. Wood, Waitotara, and Mrs. Hooper, Gisborne, are visitors to New Plymouth. Mr. and Mrs. F. Hopkinson spent Christmas with friends in Hawera. Miss D. Leahy has left for a holiday in Auckland. Mrs. J. H. Hopkinson and Miss Hopkinson, St. John's Hill, Wanganui, are the guests of Mrs. Gower James, Taumatatahi. Mr. and Mrs. Francis and their daughter have left for Auckland, where they will make their home. Mrs. Gorrell, who has been to Palmerston North, where her daughter Betty’s wedding took place recently, spent a few days wilh Mrs. N. Verry on her way back to Hawera. Mrs. Arthur Hurley and family and her .parents, Mr. and Mrs. Smith, Wanganui, are camping at the Waitotara beach. Corporal W. Nicholson and Mrs. Nicholson and two children were the guests of Mrs. E. _W. Lee for Christmas. Mrs. Cresswell. Wellington, is the guest of Mrs. J. Hurley. Sister V. Turner. Wanganui, and Miss D. Turner, have been the guests of their parents, Mr. and Mrs. A. Turner. Mrs L. Hurley and her sister, Miss S. Reid, spent Christmas with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. A. Reid. Makirikiri. Leading-Aircraftman Allen Loe. Christchurch, spent Christmas with his parents. Mr. and Mrs. E. W. Lee. Miss V. Verry. Hastings, is the guest of her mother. Mrs. Nelson Verry. Mrs. Dobie and her daughter Pauline are spending a holiday at Otaki beach.
