MEDICAL AID TO RUSSIA
London Two tons of chloroform, two tons of ether. 53,000 blankets, 324,000 pairs of surgical gloves. 523,000 yards ol rubber sheeting, and 63,000 hot watei bottles are among 2571 tons of equipment sent to Russia by the Red Cross Aid to Russia Fund. Since it was initiated by Mrs. Winston Churchill's appeal 11 months ago the public has subscribed £2,100.000 tc the fund, and the flow of donations is continuing. Supplies forwarded include portablf X-ray units and ambulances, and 400,000 woollen garments for Russiar refugees restored to territory recaptured from the Germans.
