CAPSIZE OF CANOE
YOUNG BOY DROWNED AT CHRISTCHURCH. (P.A.) Christchurch, Dec. 12. When a canoe capsized this afternoon in the Avon River, near Withell’s Island, New Brighton, Anthony Yarrall, aged eight years, a son of Mr. and Mrs. A. Yarrall, of Richmond Terrace, was drowned.
