ANGANUI CORPORATION ’ ’ TRAMWAYS. TRAM, BUS AND ELEVATOR XMAS HOLIDAY SERVICES. THURSDAY, 24th December, 1942 (Xmas Eve): The Durie Hill Elevator will continue running till 11.15 p.m. The tram service will continue running till 11.0 p.m., and the last trams will leave the Post Office lor the various terminii at that time. The skeleton Bus Service wil l be run on the St. John’s Hill route until 6.0 p.m., when the following will be observed : INWARDS, LEAVE VIRGINIA ROAD: 6.40 p.m. (via Smithfield), 7.25 p.m., 9.30 p.m., 10.20 p.m., 10.55 p.m. (via Springvale). OUTWARDS. LEAVE POST OFFICE: 7.0 p.m. (via Springvale), 9.15 p.m. (via Smithfield). 10.5 p.m., 10.35 p.m. (via Springvale). FRIDAY, 25th December, 1942 (Christmas Day): No Tram, Bus or Elevator Service will be run. SATURDAY, 26th December, 1942 (Boxing Day): The Durie 1-liil Elevator will run ibe ordinary service. The ordinary week-day services will he run on all tram routes from 6 30 a.m., but the St. John's Hill Bus will commence running the skeleton service at. 11.10 a.m. from the Post Office and 11.43 a.m. from Virginia Road. CASTLECLIFF BEACH: Weather permitting, and traffic con ditions warranting, the scheduled holiday timetable will be run between Post Office and Castlecliff Beach, commencing at 9.0 a.m. W. J.
