RAILWAY PROMOTIONS
WANGANUI DISTRICT STAFF
Several promotions and staff changes in, the Wanganui administrative railway district were announced yesterday:— Messrs. C. G. Chapman (stationmaster, Greatford). C. L. Hay (clerk, New Plymouth), H. E. Stevens (shift clerk, Taihape), and F. C. Ball (shift clerk, Taihape) have been transferred on promotion to Ohakune as train control operators. Mr. F. Spencer, stationmaster, Midhirst, has been transferred on promotion to the position of goods clerk, Hawera. The Midhirst vacancy will be filled by Mr. A. C. Snaddon, clerk. Hawera. Mr. W. A. Scott, who is on the head office staff in Wellington, will be stationmaster, Greatford. Mr. W. Davies, shift clerk, Taumarunui, has been promoted to the position of stationmaster, Waiouru. Mr. L. C. Lucas, stationmaster, Waiouru, goes to Eltham as shift clerk.
Mr. R. Morris, shift clerk. Eltham, will be shift clerk, Taumarunui.
