Prices of fruit and vegetables in th’e Wellington markets are quoted by Market Gardeners, Ltd., as fo.lows: Passionfruit, 26s to 28h 6d : N.Z. grapefruit, 20h to 27s 9d a case; rhubarb. 12s to 245; radish, 2« to 4s; celery, 12s to 245; a:q>aragus, 9s to 18s; turnips, 3s to 4s, all a dozen bunches: cucumbers, 8s to 18s a dozen ; spring onions, 4s 9d to 9s a bunch ; cauliflower, 7« to 16s 6d a sack ; lettuce, 10s to 17s 6d ; leeks, fw to 19s i d ; cabbage, 6s to Ils; silver beet, 3i to 4s 6d ; rhubarb, 7s 6d to 8s 6d ; celery, 7s to 9s; r.pinach, (is 6d to 9s 3d; cauliflower, 10s to 13« 6d ; beetroot, 5s to 10s, all a case.
