RIOTS AT AHMEDABAD

POLICE FIRE ON CROWDS New Delhi, Oct. 9. Police at Ahmedabad fired three times on crowds throwing stones, but no casualties resulted. More than 3000 people suspected of participation in recent disturbances in Bombay were rounded up last night. Thirteen persons were arrested for being in possession of pistols and cartridges. Four members of the Congress Party were arrested in New Delhi for picketing the town hall and shouting slogans during a meeting of the municipal council.
