JOINED BY MINISTER OF RAILWAYS
PARLIAMENTARY HOME GUARD UNIT (P.A.) Wellington. Oct. 12. Latest recruits to the Parliamentary Home Guard unit include the Minister of Railway and Transport, the Hon. R. Semple. The pioneer section, whose duties involve demolitions, the handling of explosives and the cover of field engineering activities generally, will be part of the organisation,' as it is of other Home Guard units, and when it is formed Mr. Semple will have charge of it. In work of this kind Mr. Semple has had considerable practical experience.
