WOMEN FOR SERVICES
CAMPAIGN IN BRITAIN FOR VOLUNTEERS London, Sept. 27. Tens of thousands of women volunteers are urgently required in Britain for service to release men for the front line. The three women’s services launched a joint recruiting camnaign at the week-end, a special apneal being made to married women, including childless wives of servicemen. Whether childless wives will be in- : eluded in a compulsory call-up depends on the response to the campaign.
