FRENCH AIR SQUADRON TO SERVE IN RUSSIA
Rugby, Sept. 26. A French fighter squadron has left for the Russian front after a series of military and diplomatic talks between representatives of the French National Committee and the Soviet. The unit, which, it is hoped, will soon be in operation, will be christened the “Normandy” squadron, and its flag will bear two silver leopards, the emblem of the Province of Normandy. It will fight under the operational command of the Russian air force.— 8.0.W.
