WANGANUI BASEBALL
ENDEAVOUR TO CARRY ON The loss of members to the Armed Forces has seriously affected various clubs of the Wanganui Baseball Association, but an endeavour is being made to keep the game alive by the continuance of the senior men’s and schools’ baseball competition. The association is holding a meeting to-morrow night when the possibility of carrying on will be discussed. Invitations have been sent to representatives of the Air Training Corps, the Army and primary and secondary schools.
