SINGLE PURPOSE, SAYS ATTLEE
“WINNING THE WAR” (Recd. 11.0 p.m.) Ottawa, Sept. 27. Though he did not directly refer to a second front, Mr. C. B. Attlee, who is visiting Canada, in a broadcast pointed out that the war aims of the United Nations “involve the lives of mon and cannot be affected by demands made by irresponsible people. Those who bear responsibility are animated by a single purpose, that of winning the war.”
