U.S. NAVAL BASE

CANAL ZONE INSPECTION Balboa (Canal Zone), Sept. 25. Colonel Frank Knox, Secretary of the Navy, has arrived at the Cocosolo naval base for an inspection of the Canal Zone’s naval. installations. Colonel Knox said that defence against air attack here was as perfect as anywhere in the world, and paid a tribute to Army and Navy co-opera-tion in defence.
