WANGANUI CONTRIBUTIONS More than £6OOO has been collected by the Wanganui Patriotic Appeal Committee towards its quota of £9OOO. Glasgow, £5; Mrs. McDougal, £3 3s; J. Aiken, Mrs. McMillian and Mrs. Robertson, £2 each; “anonj'mous," £1 10s; Mr. and Mrs. Cairncross, “A.M.C.,” “anonymous.” "anonymous.” £1 each; “anonymous,” Capt. Stewart. 10s each; Mrs. J. Clark. ss; “anonymous.” 4s; “anonymous," Is 6d: total £6005 6s. Of the above amount £24 was collected by the Presbyterian Church. Donations may he left with the secretary at the Patriotic Office, 50 Ridgway Street, any hank manager, or at the office of the Wanganui “Chronicle.”
