RAETIHI Mr. D. S. Barratt, of the staff of the Awarua radio station, Invercargill, is on vacation, and is staying with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. N. L. Barratt. Ballance Street. During his stay Mr. Barratt has been pleased to renew old acquaintances and before terminating his holidays will visit other centres ol interest in the North Island. WAVERLEY Misses Heather and Dawn Marlin, of Palmerston North, are visiting Waverley as the guests of Mrs. R. Fraser, Kohi. Mrs. Johnston, New Plymouth, is visiting her daughter, Mrs. W. Boyd. Miss Joyce Southcombe is visiting Waverley. Mrs. J. Bourke has left for a holiday with her mother at Glen Afton. Mrs. Hislop, Wellington, is the guest of her mother. Mrs. Andrew Elmslie. Mrs. R. Sheppard and family, Opunake, are slaving in Waverley as the guests of Mrs. W. Watkins. MARTON Privates Keith and Mervyn Atkinson and Ray McDonald are at present mending a fortnight’s furlough in Marton. Mrs. H. F. Jury and son are spending a week's holiday in Marton as the guests of W-'\
