’QUAKE IN ECUADOR
■ Guayaquil (Ecuador), May 14. Upwards of 20 were killed when an earthqua e of a minute’s duration wrecked many buildings in ‘the Guayaquil area. The population got into a panic when the city's electricity supply was cut off. Later. Latest reports show that the earthi quake was the most disastrous in ihe j country's history. The death toll has •already reached the hundreds.
