Denis Dowling, of Ranfurly, who is steadily gaining lame as a oaritone, has been given the principal part in George Black > “Gangway" at the Palladium, featuring Bebe Daniels. She has a reputation throughout Britain. and has played at hundreds of concerts for the forces and for factory workers since the outbreak of war. Her Newcastle recital was proof of her popularity.
