HUNGARIAN ATROCITIES (Recd. 8.40 p.m.) London, May 14. The new Hungarian mass terrorism has thrown Yugoslavia into a ferment says the Ankara correspondent of the Daily Mail. The trouble started when Hungarian gendarmes abducted 50 girls from a Serbian village, took them n to barracks in Zabiak and subjected n them to disgraceful ill-treatment. The t girls’ families and friends killed the . gendarmes. The Hungarian com,l mander in retaliation arrested and a shot the assailants and ordered a punitive expedition. The Serbs held out .' for ten days against regular troops. * When the troops overcame the \ civilians they rounded up 6000 men, e women and children. The news leaks ed out, although communications were e cut, and the country was dangerously s aroused.
