Gazelle seis aside certain provisions ot • the Factory Ad so as to permit cm- • plo} m< nt of female in bakehouses between the hours of 6 p.m. and 8 a.m. ’ Female workers so employed are to be - engaged wholly in bread packing, checking, wrapping, banding, cutting, assisting in the distribution to racks, or wins, and keeping the bread room clean. They must not work over 40 hours a week without the payment of overtime. and the minimum wages are to be £4 los 6d a week, including the general order increases. Provision is also made for intervals for refreshment, transport at the expense of th? employer, when public transport is not available, rest rooms, and conveniences.
