(Special Correspondent). London, May 12. ' The New Zealand night fighter j squadron has begun operations. An j Aucklander, Flight-Lieutenant H. N. I Sweetman, with the English commanding officer, was the first to take off in search of Nazi raiders, while the remainder of the squadron stood by. The Germans switched to a different area, however, so there was no action.
