TAIHAPE SALE. The N.Z. Farmers' Co-op. Distributing Co. Ltd., report a yarding ol 2500 sheep at the Taihape sale on Wednesday to a good attendance of buyers.' V There was keen competition on 4 ana; .V 5-year ewes, but 2-tooths were in-; e dined to be a little easier. In the' £ older section some good quality ewes 1 y came forward. The auctioneers! it quote:--h Good 5-year ewes, 17s 8d to 18s; 4h year ditto, 17s 4d to 18s 4d; good m.a. n ewes. 17s; 1-year ewes, 10s lOd; pool £ conditioned sorts, 8d; 2-tooths, 24s to -26 s Id; smaller sorts, 21s to 22s 6d; good medium woolly b.f. lambs, 14s v 6d; good forward ditto, 16s; best e woolly wether lambs, 16s; woolly ewe s lambs, 17s.
