"I Was a Prisoner on Devil's Island." featuring Sally Eilers and 'Donald Woods, is a drama of the .[earth’s most abandoned outcast. “South Of Tahiti.” The beat of the jungle drums pound l |out a pattern of tense drama, the ■| romance of a beautiful savage native ’ and a happy-go-lucky adventurer. 1 plus all the colour of the wilds of the tropics in the new Universal hit, • "South of Tahiti," which screens at Iho Regent to-morrow. "Virile" lis the word for the' performance of Brian Donlevy in the starring role as the rough-and-tough pearl fisherman who winds up on an uncharted isle 1 with his two pals, played by Brod Crawlord and Andv Devine. Donlevy carries the romantic theme as well as the activating dramatic interest, and ' does it full well. The associate feature is "Naval Academy,” starring Freddie Bartholomew.
