HOME OF COMPASSION The annual appeal for the Aubert ■ Home of Compassion, held in Wanganui this week, resulted in £lBB be- . ing collected, a total considered very satisfactory. Proceeds of the Irish national concert, helu on the night of St. Patrick’s Day, together with an anonymous donation of £5 and returns from a card party, resulted in £B5 14s being added to the fund. The street appeal yesterday realised £l2l 6s inclusive of donations.
