Condemnation of the action of the reezing workers and cool-store hands i Auckland in striking was expressed t a meeting this afternoon of the lawke’s Bay executive of the Pamirs’ Union, which resolved that, it was unanimously behind the Government t it put into action the full poVers it ossessi’s in dealing with those persons vho have seen fit to commit this rime against our own men in the eld. They have enjoyed the privities accruing from the classification, T their particular industry and have een fit to desert their posts. The lenalty should fit the crime, and as his is not the first hold-up the offendrs should bo drafted automatically nto the military forces for suitable uties. where they would be subject o military discipline and pay.”
