SUGAR RATIONING
TO RE INTRODUCED IN N.Z. (P.A.) Parliament Bldgs., Mar, 17. According to a statement made by the Miniister of Sujiply, the Hon. D. G. Sullivan, sugar is to be rationed in the Dominion. Mr. J. A. Lee had given notice of a question on behalf of the member for Napier, the Hon. W. E. Barnard, asking whether the Government would take steps to regulate effectively the rationing of sugar. Dlr. Sullivan, in reply, said: "If you mean will sugar be rationed, my reply is in the affirmative.”
