ALERT IN LONDON
FIRST SINCE NOVEMBER Rugby, March 16. A short alert sounded in the London area this morning. It was followed shortly after by the all clear. The alert was due to three enemy aircraft crossing the south coast of England. One flew some distance inland. There ’jare no reports of bombs having been idropped. The last general alert sounded in the London area was on Saturday I night, November 1, 1941. The last I davlight alert in London was on June 16, ’1941.--8.0.W. —
