WANGANUI CHAMPIONSHIPS | The Wanganui Swimming Centre's school 1 children’s championships were 'held at the i Central baths on Saturday. Competition was particularly strong in the girls under 12 section, in which six competitors swam within standard time. The championships were won by Dudley Mitchell (Technical College), senior boys; Eiwyn Coull (Girls’ Coliegel, senior girls; Herbert Dyke (Gonville School), junior boys, and B.
