Whenever an appeal has been made for cash or foi kind, the Chronicle readers have responded readily. There i.now an urgent need tor monetary aid. and the supporters of tin home have organised a .street appeal which is lo lie conducted to moiiow. Jhe pulilie is invited to continue the generous support 1,1 I’ast. Incidentally, .it may be mentioned that the accoiinlitig of this institution is clear and accurate, these accounts having on occasion been submitted to the Chronicle for inspection. Every thing is accounted for and the, expense rale of running the home is exceptionally low. which is another way of saying that the far gioater portion of any donation finds its way to the beneficiaries.
